Winter Crazy Land ;)

Hey everyone!
It has been a crazy January here in Roanoke! Isabelle is loving her school/daycare (this is a picture of her right after her first "school performance"-she sang!). The weather has been all over the place. One day it will be snowing, the next day it is raining, and then it will be sunny and beautiful! We are expecting to get a lot of snow this weekend so of course Brantley wants to head up to Snowshoe, Massanutten, or Wintergreen (the three closest places to go snowboarding). Bella loves the snow...she'll say, "It's so pretty!". :) I, on the other hand...am sick of the snow. It is getting in the way of school and work. I can handle one big snow day...but heading into the third is really getting frustrating. I still am a Florida girl at heart....can't wait for summer.
Anyway...I have meant to put up the link to my other blogs. The anti-aging blog is michelleacree.blogspot.com. I have yet to find a link that works for the other blog I have been wanting to do. But I promise it will be up before the weekend is out and I will give you that information as well!
Another piece of Brantley news...he has decided to get his real estate license! He doesn't know exactly what he wants to do with it, but he seems really interested in real estate. So pray that after he takes the course he can pass the exam!
Bella is getting excited about Valentines Day coming up! She has a "boyfriend"...his name is Joey. I'll say, "Bella...you can't have a boyfriend for another 16 years" and she will say, "Yesssss I can! Joey is my boyfriend!". Everyday I pick her up from school I will say, "What did you do today?"...and she replies with, "Played with Joey again." Haha. It's really cute to see the little kids interact with each other. All the kids get so excited to see Bella (which they all pronounce "Beyyya" because they can't quite get the "ll" sound) when I drop her off in the mornings. They all call me "Beyya's mommy"...haha...too cute!
My sleep schedule is changing now because I have my 8 A.M. organic chemistry classes that have just started back up! So I am going to head out! But have a safe, wonderful weekend! See y'all next week!
God Bless,

The NEWstuff...

Hey everyone!
Everything is so busy with the Acree Family these days. Brantley is working hard at the Greenhouse Boardshop as the Store Manager. He recently had a movie premiere at the Grandin Theatre in Roanoke for a skateboarding movie that he helped film! The theatre was packed with people waiting to see the movie! It was so awesome and I was so proud of him! Brantley works really hard to get kids in Roanoke excited about being active with snowboarding, wakeboarding, and skateboarding. I think it is so important for kids to find an outlet other than alcohol and drugs to make them happy and excited about life and Brantley is doing a good job helping them with that. :) When he gets the chance he heads up to Snowshoe or Massanutten and goes boarding, and when I have the time I get to go too (really fun short vacation times).
Isabelle is growing bigger everyday (now 2 1/2 years old). It is amazing to see the things she does and hear the things she says. She repeats everything that comes out of my mouth so it has really made me watch what I say (haha... :0). Her favorite thing to say these days is, "Hold on just a minute!" HAHA!! She says it for everything! I will say, "Clean your room, please", or "Come here, Bella" and her answer is always, "Hold on just a minute!" It's too cute. Her teachers and everyone around me say that she is so smart for her age (I don't know where she gets it, haha). She knows how to count to 10 and say her ABC's. She sings all the time (her favorite song is "Jesus loves me"), her favorite thing to eat it ravioli (which she calls, "oli, oli"), and her favorite color is PINK! Everything needs to be pink. For Christmas family members would ask her what she wanted for Christmas and she would say, "pink presents!" :).
As for me...I have been busy studying for school. This is my last year at Hollins and I will soon graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. I am also working at Carilion Hospital in Roanoke as a researcher and assistant to psychiatrists. I am also contemplating becoming an EMT (you train for a year). It would be something to do and more knowledge to gain while I finish up my undergrad. In less than 6 months I am taking the MCAT and applying to medical schools! :) So pray that I can get through this year with all that is happening! Other than studying, studying, studying, I am taking as much time as I can to hang out with Bella and Brantley. I am also selling MaryKay for fun (I now have my masters esthetician license and thought I should use it somehow). Life is good (though busy and hectic at times). :)
I pray that everyone reading (and even those who aren't) have a wonderful, happy, healthy, blessed 2010. My goal is to update my blog at least once a week (if not more)...so follow up to see what we're up to! I am going to be putting pictures up soon as well!! I am also starting two other blogs. In short, one is going to be a weekly devotion where I will pick out certain bible verses and discuss them, and another is going to be an anti-aging blog about the newest breakthroughs in the anti-aging world (I will talk about endocrinology and sleep medicine as well). I will give you those links as soon as I get the first blogs up!
God Bless,

P.S. I would love to hear from all of you about what you are up to as well. Just e-mail us at michelleacree@gmail.com!!!
